Welcome to Blue Jean Beads. The artist, Terry Beauvais, designs, creates and markets distinctive handmade glass bead jewelry. What makes this jewelry so exceptional? For starters, She makes all of her own glass beads through a lamp work process. Terry has developed an innovative technique, featuring beads with mixed colors and embedded materials such as goldstone and mica. She fashions beads into many unique shapes and sizes.

In addition to making all of her own glass beads, Terry designs and creates all the jewelry pieces. She employs quality material in her designs. She uses only sterling silver chains, wire and findings. Gold wire and findings are gold fill. Many of her designs feature gemstones such as turquoise, garnet, tanzanite, amethyst and citrine. Terry joins the glass beads, gemstones and findings into innovative and beautiful casual jewelry. Check out the "samples" page to see some examples.

Blue Jean Beads is located in Granada Hills, California. Terry displays and sells her jewelry at about twenty craft and art shows a year in Southern California. Additionally, her jewelry has been on display at the Valley Institute of Visual Arts. Check out the "show schedule" page to see where Blue Jean Beads will be appearing in the next few months.

The question we get at every show is "Where did you come up with the name?" The answer is simple really. When she started fashioning jewelry, Terry wanted to make casual, easy to wear pieces that could be worn with a t-shirt or sweater and blue jeans. And thus the name, Blue Jean Beads.
